Start an on-demand course
Find and launch a self-paced course you are licensed for.
On-demand courses are self-paced — start whenever you like and pick up where you left off. They live in the Learn menu under On-Demand Courses.
Before you start
You need a learner license for each course. Licenses are assigned by your organization’s admin. If a course shows Request Access instead of a start button, you don’t have a seat yet — the request goes to your admin.
Start a course
- Open Learn → On-Demand Courses in the left navigation.
- Find the course you want. Each card shows the course name and your current status.
- Select Start Course. The course player opens on the first lesson.
Once you’ve begun, the button changes to a continue action and the card shows your progress — see Track your progress and complete lessons.
Move through the course
Courses are organized into lessons, and each lesson contains sections — videos, quizzes, and reflections. Work through a lesson top to bottom, then use Next to advance. Some lessons are locked until you complete an earlier one, so the order matters.
You can leave at any time. The platform saves your place, and reopening the course from On-Demand Courses returns you to where you stopped.
If you can’t find a course
- Check that you’re in the right organization — see Switch between organizations.
- If a course you expect is missing entirely, your license may not be assigned yet. Ask your admin, or point them to Manage license seats.
When you finish
Completing all lessons marks the course complete. Many courses grant a certificate of completion you can download and share — see Earn and download certificates. If your course also has a live component, see Join a live workshop.
