Open a team report

Open any heatmap row as a full report with stage scores, strengths, opportunities, every item, benchmarks, and comments.

Last updated October 13, 2026

The heatmap tells you which groups to look at. The report panel tells you what’s happening inside one of them. It opens beside the grid, so you keep your place while you read.

Before you start

You need the admin role, or access to the survey through sharing, and a survey with results. People a survey is shared with can open reports only within the scope they were given. See Share survey results.

Open a report

  1. Open the survey’s results.
  2. Select any heatmap row, or any node in the org chart. The report opens to the right of the grid, scoped to exactly that population.
  3. Select another row to switch the report without closing it. Select Close report when you’re done.

Groups under the survey’s response-count threshold don’t produce a report. The panel says Not enough responses and names the number needed.

What the report shows

  • The group’s score, its response count, and its share of participants who responded.
  • Where the group sits against the benchmark, with a picker to change the benchmark population.
  • A bar for each of The 4 Stages of Psychological Safety™, each carrying its zone split of red, neutral, and blue responses.
  • Strengths, the three questions that scored highest, and Opportunities, the three that scored lowest.
  • Comments, the group’s written responses grouped under the survey’s open-ended prompts.

Select View all items to see every question’s score, grouped by stage, rather than only the top and bottom three.

Read the comments

Comments sit at the bottom of the report. Where a group has at least four of them, select Generate themes to summarize them as Themes across comments instead of reading the pile. Themes are generated on request, never automatically.

Download comments (CSV) exports them. See Read the qualitative responses for what the prompts ask and how confidentiality applies.

Ask about the results

Select Analyze results to open an assistant scoped to the report in front of you. Ask it what stands out, where the biggest opportunity is, or how to talk about the results with the team. Every answer cites the scores, questions, and comments behind it.

This feature depends on AI being enabled for your organization. If you don’t see it, contact the LeaderFactor Solutions Team at [email protected].

Share it

  • Download PDF produces a shareable version of the open report.
  • Classic report opens the full-page report for the same scope. It’s still where you go to set up segments and prepare a workshop debrief.

Where to go next

Read the grid the report came from in Read the heatmap, change what the rows are with Segment, filter, and save views, or follow a reporting line in Use hierarchy and downline views.
