Surveys (PSindex®)

Share survey results

Give someone access to a PSindex survey's results, either the whole survey or only the slice they need, without making them an admin.

Last updated October 8, 2026

An HR partner or division leader often needs to see PSindex® results for their part of the organization, and nothing else. Share the survey with them. Sharing is the access: there’s no separate analyst role to assign, and the people you share with don’t get any admin menus.

Before you start

You need the admin role and a PSindex survey. Admins already see every survey’s results.

Share a survey

  1. Open the survey and select Share.
  2. Use Search people to find the person and add them.
  3. Choose what they see:
    • Full access shows the whole survey.
    • Custom scope limits them to a slice, such as one department. Create the slice with Add view.
  4. Select Save.

To remove someone, select the x on their row and save. They lose access right away.

Give leaders their own team

The People leaders card lets each leader see results for their own downline, so one setting covers every manager. It’s off by default. Turn it on with Change in settings.

This needs a Manager Email column in your participant file. Without one, the Sharing page tells you to add it. See Set up attributes and hierarchies.

When shared results become visible

The line at the top of the Sharing page shows whether access is open and whether an email goes out when it opens. People you share with see results only while access is open. Change it with Change in settings.

Confidentiality still applies to everyone. A group with fewer responses than the survey’s threshold (default 3) shows no results. See Read the heatmap.

Share each new survey

Sharing is per survey. Someone who can see last year’s results won’t see a new survey until you share it with them too.
