Surveys (PSindex®)

Schedule your survey and customize invitations

Set start and end dates, pick a reminder cadence, and customize and preview the invitation email.

Last updated July 14, 2026

Scheduling is the last setup step for a PSindex® survey. Once you set dates and confirm pricing, invitations send automatically on the start date.

Before you start

You need the admin role, and the survey needs at least 3 participants — see Create your first PSindex survey. Scheduling lives in the survey’s settings.

Set the dates

  1. Set Survey Starts — invitations email out on this date.
  2. Set Survey Ends — responses lock when this date passes. Use the After 14 days shortcut for a standard two-week window.

Two weeks is a good default. Long enough for reminders to work, short enough to keep momentum.

Pick a reminder cadence

Choose a Reminder Interval: Everyday, Every 2 days, Every 3 days, or Every 7 days. Reminders go only to participants who haven’t completed the survey. Every 2 or 3 days balances response rates against inbox fatigue for most organizations.

Customize the invitation

Add an Invitation Note — your own message injected into the invitation email. Use it to say why the survey matters, who sees results, and who’s sponsoring it. A note from a named leader lifts participation.

Preview both emails before you commit — the invitation and the reminder — so you see exactly what participants will receive. If your company filters external mail, get the sending domain allow-listed first; see Platform emails aren’t arriving.

Accept terms and pricing

Surveys are billed per participant. Before you can save the schedule, review and accept the terms and the per-participant price shown in settings.

After you schedule

The survey status changes to Scheduled, then to In Progress on the start date. Participants take the survey from their emailed link and never see scores. From there, watch completion in real time in See who has completed your survey.
