Surveys (PSindex®)

Compare surveys and export results

Run a re-test, compare results with a previous PSindex survey, and export Excel, CSV, verbatims, and PDF reports.

Last updated July 14, 2026

One PSindex® survey is a snapshot. Two are a trend. Link a re-test to its predecessor for side-by-side results, then export whatever your stakeholders need.

Before you start

You need the admin role and at least one completed survey in the organization. Results and exports are admin-only.

Run a re-test

Create the re-test like any survey — see Create your first PSindex survey. Keep the participant attributes consistent between rounds, or the comparison segments won’t line up.

  1. Open the new survey’s Settings and choose the earlier survey under Previous Survey.
  2. In Results, turn on Show Previous Survey. Each segment renders both rounds side by side.
  3. Turn on Show Deltas to read movement directly, per scale and per segment.

Read deltas against participation. A score that “dropped” in a segment where twice as many people responded may simply be more honest. See Read the heatmap.

Export results

  • Excel — in Results, select Export to Excel. The workbook reflects your current segments and filters, so set the view first.
  • Participant CSV — from the Participants tab, export the roster with completion status. Useful for reconciliation and follow-up lists.
  • Verbatim responses — download open-text answers as a CSV from the survey’s report. Verbatims are where the numbers get explained; treat them with the same confidentiality as scores.
  • PDF report — open the survey’s report and select Export for a shareable document.

Close the loop

Exports leave the platform’s access controls behind — scrub small segments before wide distribution. To let someone explore results in the platform without admin rights, see Give an analyst limited survey access.
