See who has taken an assessment
Read the Participation roster on a tool's reporting view to find rater coverage, scores, gaps, and one person's full history.
Aggregates tell you how your organization is doing. The Participation roster tells you who is behind those numbers: who still needs raters, and who has moved since their first submission.
Before you start
You need the org admin role, and your organization needs the Insights plan. Open the skill’s assessment report from Insights → Skills. See Use assessments reporting.
Read the roster
Participation lists one row per person who has taken the tool, with their cohort under their name:
- Raters: how many of their invited raters have responded, on their most recent submission. A submission needs 3 completed raters before it produces any external score.
- Submissions: how many submissions they have inside the filters you have set.
- External: their overall rater score, from their most recent submission that has rater feedback.
- Self: their overall self score on their most recent submission.
- Gap: external minus self. See Understand benchmarks and gap analysis.
- Trend: their latest self score minus their first. It stays empty until someone retakes the tool.
- Last submission: how long ago they last submitted.
Select a column heading to sort by it. The roster opens with the most recent submitters first, and it follows the page’s filters, so set the view you want before you read it. Under the table, running totals give you Unique participants, Total submissions, and how many submissions have external results.
Open one person
Select a name to see that person on their own:
- Stage breakdown: their external, self, and gap figures for each dimension of the instrument.
- Raters on latest submission: responses broken out by Supervisor, Peer, Direct Report, and Other. A badge names the coverage problem when there is one, for example No raters invited or Needs 2 more raters.
- Submission history: every submission in the filters, newest first, with its rater coverage and scores.
- Participant details: email, cohort, and any demographic attributes your organization has defined.
Individual answers are never shown here. What you get is coverage and scores, which is what you can act on: thin rater coverage is the most common finding, and the fix is to point those people at Invite raters to your assessment.
