Interpret your radar chart, factor bands, and interpretive guide.

Last updated July 14, 2026

Every assessment produces the same kind of report: a radar chart of your scores, a band that classifies each score, and a guide that tells you what to do about it.

The radar chart

The radar chart plots one axis per dimension of the instrument — for example the four stages on the PSindex® self-assessment, or the six domains on the EQindex® self-assessment. A fuller, more even shape means broader strength; a dent on one axis points to your biggest opportunity.

If you’ve invited raters, the chart overlays their combined scores on yours, so you can see where their view of you diverges from your own — see Invite raters to your assessment.

Factor bands

Each score falls into one of six bands, from lowest to highest:

  1. High Risk
  2. Risk
  3. Limiting
  4. Growth
  5. Strength
  6. Success

The bands do the interpretation for you. Anything in High Risk or Risk deserves attention first. Limiting means the behavior is holding you back. Growth, Strength, and Success are progressively stronger positions — keep building on them.

The interpretive guide

Below the chart, the interpretive guide explains what each dimension measures, what your band means in practice, and where to focus. Read it dimension by dimension rather than fixating on a single number — the pattern across dimensions is more useful than any one score.

Get more out of your report

  • Retake the assessment after a few months and compare — see Take an assessment.
  • Add rater input. Self-perception is only half the picture; three or more rater responses unlock the full 360 report.
