Get to know the Behavior Change Center
What the Behavior Change Center is, how commitments and 30-day cycles work, and where to find it.
The Behavior Change Center is where learning becomes practice. You commit to a few specific behaviors, practice each one for 30 days, and check in twice a week on how it’s going.
Find the center
Open the Learn menu in the left navigation and select Behavior Change. The top of your center shows three numbers at a glance: your active commitments (out of 3), your check-ins this week, and your week streak.
Commitments, not goals
Everything in the center is built around commitments: specific, doable behavior statements in the form “When X, I will Y.” Tying a behavior to a real moment in your day beats a vague goal — you know exactly when to practice it. See Create and manage your commitments for where commitments come from.
Three at a time
At most 3 commitments are active at once. Everything else waits in your Planned Commitments list until a slot opens — fewer behaviors, practiced consistently, beat a long list you never look at. When all three slots are full, pause or complete a commitment to make room.
30-day cycles
Each active commitment runs for 30 days. Your commitment card tracks the days completed and your active weeks — weeks where you finished both check-ins. When the 30 days are up, the commitment completes, you get a congratulations email with your check-in count and average score, and you can select Extend for 30 more days to keep going. Extend as many times as you like; the card marks each round as Month 2, Month 3, and so on.
Check in twice a week
Mondays you plan where each commitment will matter this week; Fridays you reflect and score yourself. The details — including what happens if you miss one — are in Check in on your commitments each week.
Coming from a course
LeaderFactor courses end with a Commitment Prioritization lesson: behaviors you saved during the course become your Planned Commitments, and you confirm up to three to start practicing right away.
