360 Evaluations

Create a 360 batch

Start an EQindex® 360 and understand the batch, targets, and raters model.

Last updated July 14, 2026

360 Evaluations is the admin-run engine for EQindex® 360. It’s distinct from the org-wide PSindex® survey and from self-service assessments — if you’re not sure which tool you’re in, see What’s the difference between assessments, surveys, and 360s?.

Before you start

You need the org admin role, and your organization needs the 360 Evaluations feature.

The model: batches, targets, raters

  • A batch is a group of leaders evaluated together, on one schedule.
  • Each target is a leader being evaluated.
  • Each target has raters — the people who give feedback, each tagged with a relationship such as supervisor, peer, or direct report.

Create the batch

  1. Open 360 Evaluations and start a new batch.
  2. Choose EQindex® 360 as the Evaluation Type.
  3. Enter a Batch Name — something you’ll recognize later, like “Q3 leadership batch”.
  4. Select Create Batch.

The batch opens empty. Next steps: Add leaders to a batch, then Add raters for each leader.

Schedule the batch

Raters aren’t emailed until the batch starts. From the batch, open Schedule Batch:

  1. Set Batch Starts — invitation emails go out at this time.
  2. Optionally set Batch Ends. Leave it blank and the batch stays open.
  3. Choose a Send Reminders interval — every day, or every 2, 3, or 7 days. Raters who haven’t finished get a reminder email on that cadence.

Add targets and raters before the start time so everyone is invited together.

Rename or delete a batch

Open the batch settings (Edit Batch) to change the name, add an optional Invitation Note to the invitation email, or delete the batch. Deleting a batch cannot be undone.
