Custom slide decks and phone control for presenters
Create your own versions of official decks, edit slides and speaker notes, and control live presentations from your phone.
Presenting just got a major upgrade. Facilitators can now tailor official decks to their organization and run the room from their phone — less time working around fixed slides, more freedom while you deliver.
What’s new
A new way to launch slides
The Slides button — on a cohort page or in facilitator training — now opens a launcher. Start the official LeaderFactor-maintained deck with Start Presentation, exactly as before, or pick one of your own versions.
Your own versions of official decks
Create a deck of your own as a full copy of the official deck, or of a version you made earlier. It’s a true fork: the official deck stays intact and maintained by LeaderFactor, and every change you make is yours.
A full deck editor
Editing your deck now works the way you’d expect:
- Reorder slides by dragging and dropping.
- Hide slides you don’t want to present.
- Add your own slides from images, and delete any slide.
- Edit speaker notes in a rich-text editor — bold, italic, underline, lists, color — and restore any note to the official default.
Stay in sync with official updates
Your version doesn’t go stale. When LeaderFactor updates the official deck — a slide image changes, speaker notes are edited, a slide is added or removed — you’re notified in your deck and can adopt each change with a click, or keep yours.
Control the presentation from your phone
Scan a QR code from presenter view and your phone becomes the controller — no extra sign-in. You see the current slide, your speaker notes, and what’s coming next, and the navigation buttons keep your phone, your computer, and the full-screen display in sync. Walk the room instead of standing behind a laptop. This is the newest part of the release, and we’re actively refining it.
Improvements
- Full screen now opens in its own window instead of a tab, so your presenter view stays free while you present.
Get started
- Open your workshop or cohort and select Slides.
- Present the official deck with Start Presentation, or create your own version and open the editor.
- Reorder, hide, add, and annotate until the deck fits your session.
- In presenter view, scan the QR code with your phone and run the presentation from your hand.
