How do I create a CSV file for uploading participant information?

Follow the step-by-step guide below.

1. Download and open the following CSV file.

2. Provide the following required information for each participant:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Team Name or Manager Email
  • Language

3. Use optional Demographic 1–5 columns for additional data. Add columns if needed. Consider the following examples:  

  • Role
  • Tenure (use ranges such as 0–1 year, 2–5 years, 6+ years)
  • Gender 

4. Once participant information has been entered into the import template, ensure that column headers and data types match the formatting guide exactly.

5. Upload the updated CSV file to your LeaderFactor client hub.


Note 1: Please be consistent with naming conventions. For any shared fields (e.g., Team Name or Manager Email, Language, Role, or Tenure), make sure the entries are spelled and formatted exactly the same across all relevant participants.

Note 2: Commas are allowed in data fields, but will be tracked as separate values. For example, "Director, Operations" will be recorded as two values (Director and Operations). Use commas intentionally to ensure accurate tracking.
