How do I assign attributes to participants?

 

To assign attributes to a participant, you should include these attributes in the participant information import process. If you would like to report on a demographic attribute such as age, you will include a column header titled “Age” and then input the appropriate value for each participant.

If you would like to add user attributes that were not initially included in the participant information import, you can:

  • Select “add participants” on the Participants page
  • Upload an updated version of your original import file with the added columns for the new attributes. Please ensure that all original columns are included.

If you would like to edit user attributes, you can:

  • Select the edit user icon to the right of the participants email and other information on the Participants page.
  • Edit the attribute and press save.

There are some demographic categories for which some employees might have two attributes. If you would like to add participant to multiple teams or locations you can:

  • Select the edit user icon to the right of the participants email and other information on the Participants page.
  • Add the second attribute for a given demographic by adding the value to the text box. The new attribute should be separated from the first by a comma.
  • You may also include two attributes for one demographic category in your original import file. The two attribute values should be separated by a comma but remain in the same cell.
