How do I add and/or edit participant survey attributes?

1. In the LeaderFactor app, navigate to the Survey tab on the right sidebar and click on the survey you’d like to open.

2. Click Participants in the top toolbar.

3. To edit a single participant’s attributes, click the circular Edit User icon under the Actions column. This will open the participant’s profile, where you can make any necessary edits. Make sure to save your changes.

4. To add a new participant attribute or make bulk edits to existing attributes, you'll need to export the current data to a CSV file, make your changes, then reupload to the LeaderFactor platform. To begin, click the circular Export Participants icon at the top of your screen.

5. Open the CSV file.

6. To add a new attribute to your participant list, simply insert a new column in the CSV. Name the column (e.g., Role, Team, Language, Tenure, etc.), then enter the corresponding value for each participant.

7. Once you've finished updating the sheet, copy all the populated cells.

8. Return to the LeaderFactor platform and click Add Participants to begin the upload process.

9. In the pop-up window, you can go ahead and click Next—there’s no need to download the template or manually enter rows.

10. Paste the copied spreadsheet data into the text box (excluding the header row), then click Next to continue.

11. For your new custom attribute, select Custom from the dropdown menu, then enter a name for the attribute.

12. Review the column mappings to ensure each column from your spreadsheet aligns correctly with the template. When everything looks correct, click Import to upload your data.

13. Review the data for accuracy, then click Import Spreadsheet at the bottom to complete the upload.

14. Navigate back to the Participants tab to view your updated data, including the newly added attribute.
