# LeaderFactor Help Center — full article text > Every article and product update in the knowledge base at https://help.leaderfactor.com. See https://help.leaderfactor.com/llms.txt for the short map. --- ## Sign in to LeaderFactor URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/sign-in-to-leaderfactor Product area: Getting started Last updated: 2026-07-14 LeaderFactor supports three ways to sign in. Enter your email first — the platform then shows you the options available for your account. ## Sign in 1. Go to the platform sign-in page and enter your work email. 2. Select **Next**. 3. Choose how to continue: - **Password** — enter your password and select **Log In**. - **Email Me a Secure Login Link** — sign in without a password. See [Use a secure login link](/articles/use-a-secure-login-link). - **Log in with your organization's identity provider** — appears when your company uses single sign-on. You'll be redirected to your company's sign-in page and back. If your team belongs to more than one LeaderFactor organization, you'll pick one on the **Select an Account** screen after signing in. See [Switch between organizations](/articles/switch-between-organizations). ## First time signing in New accounts are asked to accept the terms and conditions before entering the platform. Read them and select **I Agree**. ## Locked out? - **Wrong password too many times** — the platform temporarily locks the account after repeated failed attempts. Wait a few minutes, then try again or use a secure login link instead. - **Forgot your password** — see [Reset or set your password](/articles/reset-or-set-your-password). - **No sign-in option works** — contact your organization's LeaderFactor admin, or email support@leaderfactor.com. --- ## Use a secure login link URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/use-a-secure-login-link Product area: Getting started Last updated: 2026-07-14 A secure login link signs you in from your email inbox — no password needed. It's the easiest way in if you rarely use the platform or can't remember your password. ## Request a link 1. On the sign-in page, enter your email and select **Next**. 2. Select **Email Me a Secure Login Link**. 3. Open the email from LeaderFactor and select the link. You'll be asked to confirm, then you're signed in. The email usually arrives within a minute. Check your spam folder if you don't see it, and confirm you entered the address your organization has on file. ## If the link has expired Login links are single-use and expire for security. If you see a message that your link has expired, request a new one — the expired-link page has a button to send a fresh link to the same address. ## Prefer a password? You can set one at any time from **Settings** once you're signed in. See [Reset or set your password](/articles/reset-or-set-your-password). --- ## Reset or set your password URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/reset-or-set-your-password Product area: Getting started Last updated: 2026-07-14 ## Reset a forgotten password 1. On the sign-in page, enter your email and select **Next**. 2. Follow the password-reset option — the platform emails you a link to create a new password. 3. Open the link and enter your new password. If you'd rather skip the reset entirely, request a secure login link instead — see [Use a secure login link](/articles/use-a-secure-login-link) — and change your password later from Settings. ## Change your password while signed in 1. Open **Settings** from the bottom of the left navigation. 2. In the password section, enter your current password and your new password. 3. Save. ## Password requirements - At least 8 characters. - Not a commonly used password — the platform rejects passwords that appear on known breached-password lists, even if they meet the length rule. If your password is rejected, pick something longer and less common. ## If your organization uses single sign-on Your password lives with your company's identity provider, not LeaderFactor. Reset it through your company's normal IT process — the steps above won't apply. --- ## Switch between organizations URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/switch-between-organizations Product area: Getting started Last updated: 2026-07-14 Some people belong to more than one LeaderFactor organization — a consultant working with several clients, or an admin who also takes courses in a partner org. Your courses, assessments, and admin tools are scoped to the organization you're in, so being in the wrong one is the usual reason something "is missing." ## Pick an organization at sign-in If your account belongs to multiple organizations, the **Select an Account** screen appears right after you sign in. Choose the organization you want to work in. ## Switch later Sign out and sign back in to return to the **Select an Account** screen, or use the account switcher in the navigation if your account shows one. ## Something missing? If you can't find a course or an admin page you expect, check which organization you're in first — each organization has its own enrollments, licenses, and permissions. If you're in the right organization and it's still missing, see [Find your way around the platform](/articles/find-your-way-around-the-platform) for how roles and purchased features shape what you can see. --- ## Find your way around the platform URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/find-your-way-around-the-platform Product area: Getting started Last updated: 2026-07-14 The left navigation is organized into a few groups. What you see depends on your role and on what your organization has purchased, so your menu may be shorter than a teammate's — that's expected. ## The main sections - **Home** — your landing page: your progress across courses and what to do next. - **Training** — the **Learn** menu holds On-Demand Courses, Live Workshops, Assessments, and the Resource Center. Facilitators also see a **Facilitate** menu with Certifications and Workshops. - **Insights** — reporting surfaces such as Assessments Reporting and Feedback, for roles with access. - **Manage** — admin tools: Surveys, 360 Evaluations, Hubs, and the **Admin** menu (Cohorts, User Management, License Management, Org Settings). Only org admins and other privileged roles see this group. At the bottom of the navigation you'll find **Support**, **Settings**, and **Logout**. ## Why can't I see something? Two things control your navigation: 1. **Your role** — individual, facilitator, analyst, or admin. Admin pages only appear for admins; the Facilitate menu only appears for facilitators. See [Understand roles and permissions](/articles/understand-roles-and-permissions). 2. **Your organization's purchases** — features like Surveys, 360 Evaluations, and Hubs appear only when your organization has licensed them. If you believe you should have access to something you can't see, ask your organization's LeaderFactor admin — they can adjust your role or check what's licensed. --- ## Open a survey or rating from an email invitation URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/open-a-survey-or-rating-from-an-email-invitation Product area: Getting started Last updated: 2026-07-14 Surveys and feedback requests arrive as an email from LeaderFactor with a personal link. The link carries its own secure access code, so you don't need a username or password — just open it. ## Take a survey 1. Open the invitation email and select the survey link. 2. Pick your language if a selector appears — surveys are available in multiple languages. 3. Answer the questions and submit. Your link is personal — don't forward it. If a colleague needs to take the survey, they should use their own invitation or ask the survey admin for one. ## Rate a colleague (feedback request) If someone requested your feedback on an assessment, the link takes you to a short registration: your name, email, and your working relationship to them (peer, direct report, manager). The questionnaire takes about 5–10 minutes, and your individual responses are confidential. ## Common questions - **The link says the survey is closed.** The survey window has ended. Contact whoever runs the survey in your organization — they can reopen it or send a fresh link. - **I lost the email.** The survey admin can resend your invitation. - **Will I see results?** Survey participants don't see scores — results go to your organization's survey admin, aggregated and anonymized. --- ## Platform emails aren't arriving URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/platform-emails-not-arriving Product area: Getting started Last updated: 2026-07-19 Expecting a survey invitation, reminder, rater request, secure login link, or receipt that never came? They all arrive by email — and when a company mail filter blocks them, participation stalls before it starts. ## What to allow-list All platform email is sent from one sender through one dedicated IP: - **Sender address:** no-reply@leaderfactor.app - **Sending IP address:** 149.72.115.247 Ask your IT or email security team to allow-list both — the sender address and the IP — in your mail gateway and any downstream filtering (spam quarantine, link rewriting, safe-sender policies). Do this before launching a survey or 360 batch, not after. ## Symptoms of blocked email - Participants say they never received a survey invitation. - Secure login links never arrive, so users can't sign in — see [Use a secure login link](/articles/use-a-secure-login-link). - Reminders go out from the platform but response rates don't move. If any of these show up, blocked or quarantined email is the most likely cause. ## Troubleshoot a missing email 1. Ask the recipient to check their spam or junk folder for mail from **no-reply@leaderfactor.app**. 2. Verify the recipient's email address is spelled correctly in the platform. A typo means the message went somewhere else — or nowhere. 3. Ask IT whether the message was quarantined by the gateway. Give them the sender address and IP above. 4. Once the allow-list is in place, resend the invitation. See [Open a survey or rating from an email invitation](/articles/open-a-survey-or-rating-from-an-email-invitation) for what participants should expect. ## For survey admins If a whole domain is affected, fix deliverability first, then resend to the participants who missed the invitation — see [Resend, reset, or remove a participant](/articles/resend-reset-or-remove-a-participant) and [Send reminders](/articles/send-reminders). --- ## Manage your account settings URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/manage-your-account-settings Product area: Account & settings Last updated: 2026-07-19 Everything about your account lives in **Settings**, at the bottom of the left navigation: your profile and photo, language, appearance, notification preferences, and a read-only record of your licenses, certifications, and purchases. ## Profile and photo 1. Open **Settings** from the bottom of the left navigation. 2. Update your **First Name**, **Last Name**, or **Email**, and save. 3. To change your photo, select your profile picture and upload an image. A clear, square headshot works best. Changing your email changes where invitations and notifications go — and the address you sign in with — so make sure it's an inbox you check. If your organization manages accounts through single sign-on or a directory sync, some fields may be controlled by your company; ask your LeaderFactor admin to change them. ## Language The platform interface is available in 11 languages. Under **Internationalization**, open **Preferred Language** and pick one — the interface updates immediately. Your choice is personal: it changes what you see, not what anyone else sees. Supported languages: English, Spanish (Español), Portuguese (Português), French (Français), Japanese (日本語), Russian (Русский), Chinese Traditional, Chinese Simplified, Thai (ไทย), Malay (Bahasa Melayu), and Kinyarwanda. The interface and LeaderFactor course and survey content are localized; content your own organization writes (custom notes, attribute names) stays in the language it was written in. Survey participants can also pick a language when they open an invitation, independent of any account setting. ## Appearance Under **Appearance**, open **Color Theme** and choose one: - **System Default** — follows your device's light/dark setting. - **Light** — always light. - **Dark** — always dark. The choice applies to your account on any device you sign in from. ## Notifications The platform emails you about things that need your attention — course and cohort updates, reminders, and feedback requests. In the **Notifications** section, turn off the types you don't want and save. Some emails aren't optional because they carry access or money: sign-in links, survey and rater invitations sent to you by an admin, and billing receipts. If you're getting survey reminders you don't think you should, the survey admin controls those — ask them to remove you from the survey rather than filtering the email. ## Licenses, certifications, and purchases Settings also keeps a read-only record of what's tied to your account: - **Your Licenses** lists the license seats assigned to you — the courses and tools your account is entitled to use. Licenses are assigned by your organization's admin; if something you need isn't listed, ask them. Admins: see [Manage license seats](/articles/manage-license-seats). - **Your Certifications** lists certifications you've earned, such as facilitator certification for a LeaderFactor course — see [Become a certified facilitator](/articles/become-a-certified-facilitator). - **Your Purchases** shows your purchase history for anything you bought directly. Receipts and invoices also arrive by email at the time of payment. --- ## View release notes and product updates URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/view-release-notes-and-product-updates Product area: Account & settings Last updated: 2026-07-14 There are two places to see what's changed, depending on how much detail you want. ## Release notes in the app The platform keeps short release notes right where you work: 1. Open **Settings** from the bottom of the left navigation. 2. Open **Release Notes**. Notes are filtered to your role, so an individual learner sees learner-relevant changes and admins see admin-relevant ones. This is the quick answer to "did something change?" ## Product updates on this site For the fuller story on each release — what shipped, why, and which help articles it affects — read [Product updates](/updates). Each post is dated, covers one release, and links to the updated articles so you can go straight from "what changed" to "how it works now." ## Which should I check? - Something looks different today → **Release Notes** in the app. - Planning training or rollouts around new capabilities → **Product updates** here. --- ## Start an on-demand course URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/start-an-on-demand-course Product area: Courses & training Last updated: 2026-07-14 On-demand courses are self-paced — start whenever you like and pick up where you left off. They live in the **Learn** menu under **On-Demand Courses**. ## Before you start You need a learner license for each course. Licenses are assigned by your organization's admin. If a course shows **Request Access** instead of a start button, you don't have a seat yet — the request goes to your admin. ## Start a course 1. Open **Learn → On-Demand Courses** in the left navigation. 2. Find the course you want. Each card shows the course name and your current status. 3. Select **Start Course**. The course player opens on the first lesson. Once you've begun, the button changes to a continue action and the card shows your progress — see [Track your progress and complete lessons](/articles/track-your-progress-and-complete-lessons). ## Move through the course Courses are organized into lessons, and each lesson contains sections — videos, quizzes, and reflections. Work through a lesson top to bottom, then use **Next** to advance. Some lessons are locked until you complete an earlier one, so the order matters. You can leave at any time. The platform saves your place, and reopening the course from **On-Demand Courses** returns you to where you stopped. ## If you can't find a course - Check that you're in the right organization — see [Switch between organizations](/articles/switch-between-organizations). - If a course you expect is missing entirely, your license may not be assigned yet. Ask your admin, or point them to [Manage license seats](/articles/manage-license-seats). ## When you finish Completing all lessons marks the course complete. Many courses grant a certificate of completion you can download and share — see [Earn and download certificates](/articles/earn-and-download-certificates). If your course also has a live component, see [Join a live workshop](/articles/join-a-live-workshop). --- ## Join a live workshop URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/join-a-live-workshop Product area: Courses & training Last updated: 2026-07-14 Live workshops are facilitator-led sessions delivered to a cohort. Your enrollments live in the **Learn** menu under **Live Workshops**. ## Before you start You're enrolled in workshops by a facilitator or your organization's admin — you can't enroll yourself. If the page says you haven't been enrolled in any workshops yet, reach out to your org admin to get scheduled. ## See your workshops 1. Open **Learn → Live Workshops** in the left navigation. 2. Workshops in progress appear first, with completed workshops below. 3. Each card shows the workshop, its dates, and a **View Course** action that opens the workshop's course materials. ## Show up prepared - Note the session date on the workshop card and block the time. - Open the workshop's course before the session. Some lessons unlock on a schedule — a lesson marked "Locked until" a date opens when the cohort reaches it, which keeps everyone moving together. - Complete any pre-work sections your facilitator assigned. Progress you make counts toward completion the same way it does in a self-paced course — see [Track your progress and complete lessons](/articles/track-your-progress-and-complete-lessons). ## During and after the session Your facilitator presents the material live; the platform holds the exercises, reflections, and quizzes that go with it. Between sessions, keep working through the unlocked lessons. When the workshop wraps, completing the remaining sections finishes the course and can earn you a certificate — see [Earn and download certificates](/articles/earn-and-download-certificates). ## Related Self-paced learning happens in [Start an on-demand course](/articles/start-an-on-demand-course). If you're the one delivering workshops rather than attending them, see [Create and run a workshop](/articles/create-and-run-a-workshop). --- ## Track your progress and complete lessons URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/track-your-progress-and-complete-lessons Product area: Courses & training Last updated: 2026-07-14 The course player tracks everything you finish. This article explains what the progress numbers mean, why some lessons are locked, and what counts as complete. ## Read your progress - The course shows an overall **% Complete**. - The lesson list shows **Lesson Progress** as "{completed} of {total} Complete" — how many lessons you've finished out of the course total. - A finished lesson shows "Completed on" with the date. Anything else is marked **Incomplete**. ## What counts as done Each lesson is made of sections — videos, quizzes, and reflections. A lesson is complete when every section in it is complete: 1. Watch videos through. Skipping ahead doesn't count them. 2. Answer quizzes and submit reflections where the lesson asks for them. 3. Scroll the whole lesson. If the player says "Keep scrolling to complete this lesson", there are sections below you haven't reached. When the last section is done, select **Next** to move on — or **Finish** on the final lesson. ## Locked lessons Two kinds of locks appear in the lesson list: - **"Complete X to unlock"** — the lesson depends on an earlier one. Finish the named lesson and it opens. - **"Locked until {date}"** — the lesson opens on a schedule. This is common in live workshop cohorts, where content unlocks as the sessions progress — see [Join a live workshop](/articles/join-a-live-workshop). Locks aren't errors. They keep the course in the intended order. ## If progress looks wrong Reopen the lesson and scroll to the end — an unwatched video or unanswered quiz is usually the culprit. Your place is saved automatically, so leaving and returning never loses work. ## When you reach 100% The course is marked complete, and many courses grant a downloadable certificate — see [Earn and download certificates](/articles/earn-and-download-certificates). Ready for another? See [Start an on-demand course](/articles/start-an-on-demand-course). --- ## Earn and download certificates URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/earn-and-download-certificates Product area: Courses & training Last updated: 2026-07-14 Finish a course and the platform gives you proof. Most courses end with a certificate of completion you can download and share. ## Earn a course certificate 1. Complete every lesson in the course — the course must show 100% complete. See [Track your progress and complete lessons](/articles/track-your-progress-and-complete-lessons). 2. The final section of the course congratulates you and offers your certificate. 3. Select **Download Certificate**. The certificate is generated with your name and saves as an image you can attach, print, or post. Some courses hold the certificate behind a final activity — for example, submitting a course exercise. If the certificate section says one more step is required, complete it and the download unlocks. ## Find certificates later You don't have to grab the certificate the moment you finish: - Reopen the course from **Learn → On-Demand Courses** and return to the certificate section — the download stays available. - Earned certifications also appear in **Settings** under **Your Certifications** — see [Manage your account settings](/articles/manage-your-account-settings). ## Workshop and facilitator certificates Live workshop cohorts grant their own completion certificates the same way — finish the workshop's course content and download from the final section. See [Join a live workshop](/articles/join-a-live-workshop). Facilitator certification is a separate path with its own certificate, earned by completing onboarding, the certification course, and a practice workshop. See [Become a certified facilitator](/articles/become-a-certified-facilitator). ## If the download doesn't appear - Confirm the course is truly at 100% — one incomplete section keeps the certificate locked. - Check that any final submission the certificate section asks for has been submitted. - Still stuck? Contact your organization's admin or LeaderFactor support with the course name. --- ## Find guides, templates, and downloads URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/find-guides-templates-and-downloads Product area: Courses & training Last updated: 2026-07-19 The Resource Center is the library behind your courses — downloadable guides, templates, and course materials, all in one searchable place. It lives in the **Learn** menu under **Resource Center**. ## Find a resource 1. Open **Learn → Resource Center** in the left navigation. 2. Use the type tabs across the top to narrow by resource type. **All** shows everything you have access to. 3. Filter further with the tag chips — tags group resources by topic and course, so one tap shows everything for, say, The 4 Stages of Psychological Safety™. 4. Or search. Type a few words into the search box and the list filters as you go. Type, tag, and search combine, so you can stack them: pick a type, add a tag, then search within the result. ## View and download Select a resource to open it. Most resources can be viewed in the browser and downloaded — download the ones you'll use offline, print, or share with your team. What you see depends on your licenses: the library shows resources for the courses and programs your organization has access to, and facilitators see additional facilitation materials. ## Where else resources appear - Courses reference their own materials inside lessons, and the Resource Center is where you come back to find them later — see [Start an on-demand course](/articles/start-an-on-demand-course). ## If something is missing - A resource tied to a course you're not licensed for won't appear. Check with your organization's admin about your licenses — see [Manage your account settings](/articles/manage-your-account-settings). - Clear the type tab, tags, and search box — an active filter is the usual reason a resource seems to be gone. --- ## Take an assessment URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/take-an-assessment Product area: Assessments Last updated: 2026-07-14 Assessments are self-service tools you take on your own — no admin has to schedule anything. Each one takes a few minutes and unlocks a personal results report. ## Find your assessments Open **Assessments** in the navigation. The catalog shows every assessment your license includes — for example the PSindex® self-assessment, the EQindex® self-assessment, or ChangeReadyindex™. Each card previews the results radar chart, blurred with the note **Take the assessment to unlock** until you complete it. Not sure which tool is which? See [What's the difference between assessments, surveys, and 360s?](/articles/difference-between-assessments-surveys-and-360s). ## Take it 1. Select an assessment from the catalog. 2. Start it and answer every item. Answer honestly — the value of the report depends on candid self-ratings, and nobody is grading you. 3. Submit. Your results unlock immediately. You can leave and come back; your progress is saved. Most assessments take 10-15 minutes. ## After you finish The finish screen shows two things: - **Your results** — a radar chart of your scores across the assessment's dimensions, with factor bands and an interpretive guide. See [Read your assessment results](/articles/read-your-assessment-results). - **Manage Multi-Rater** — invite colleagues to rate you on the same instrument and turn your self-assessment into a 360-degree view. See [Invite raters to your assessment](/articles/invite-raters-to-your-assessment). Back in the catalog, the card for that assessment is no longer blurred. Open it any time to revisit your report. ## Retake an assessment Scores change as you grow. You can take an assessment again later and compare where you've moved — your earlier submissions stay available in your results view. --- ## Read your assessment results URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/read-your-assessment-results Product area: Assessments Last updated: 2026-07-14 Every assessment produces the same kind of report: a radar chart of your scores, a band that classifies each score, and a guide that tells you what to do about it. ## The radar chart The radar chart plots one axis per dimension of the instrument — for example the four stages on the PSindex® self-assessment, or the six domains on the EQindex® self-assessment. A fuller, more even shape means broader strength; a dent on one axis points to your biggest opportunity. If you've invited raters, the chart overlays their combined scores on yours, so you can see where their view of you diverges from your own — see [Invite raters to your assessment](/articles/invite-raters-to-your-assessment). ## Factor bands Each score falls into one of six bands, from lowest to highest: 1. **High Risk** 2. **Risk** 3. **Limiting** 4. **Growth** 5. **Strength** 6. **Success** The bands do the interpretation for you. Anything in High Risk or Risk deserves attention first. Limiting means the behavior is holding you back. Growth, Strength, and Success are progressively stronger positions — keep building on them. ## The interpretive guide Below the chart, the interpretive guide explains what each dimension measures, what your band means in practice, and where to focus. Read it dimension by dimension rather than fixating on a single number — the pattern across dimensions is more useful than any one score. ## Get more out of your report - Retake the assessment after a few months and compare — see [Take an assessment](/articles/take-an-assessment). - Add rater input. Self-perception is only half the picture; three or more rater responses unlock the full 360 report. --- ## Invite raters to your assessment URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/invite-raters-to-your-assessment Product area: Assessments Last updated: 2026-07-19 A self-assessment tells you how you see yourself. Raters tell you how others see you. After you finish an assessment, you can invite colleagues to rate you on the same instrument — the full 360 report unlocks once 3 raters have responded. ## Before you start You need a completed self-assessment. The **Manage Multi-Rater** panel appears on the finish screen after you submit — see [Take an assessment](/articles/take-an-assessment). ## Invite raters There are two ways to invite, and you can use both: 1. **Copy Shareable Link** — copies your personal rater link. Send it yourself over email or chat. Anyone who opens it enters their name and their relationship to you, then rates you. 2. **Add Rater** — enter a rater's email address and the platform sends the invitation for you. The rater fills in their own name and relationship when they open it. Either way, raters register with their name and their relationship to you, take 5-10 minutes to answer, and their individual responses stay confidential. ## Who to invite Pick people who actually see you work: peers, direct reports, and your manager. Aim for more than the minimum — 5 to 8 raters gives a steadier signal than exactly 3, and it protects against a couple of non-responses stalling your report. ## Why 3 responses Confidentiality. Individual answers are never shown; rater scores only appear once at least 3 people have completed, so no single response can be traced back to a person. Until then, your report shows self scores only. ## Track your invitations The rater table on the finish screen lists each person with their name, relationship, and status — Pending, In Progress, or Complete. To nudge someone, fix a typo, or remove a rater, see [Manage your raters](/articles/manage-your-raters). --- ## Manage your raters URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/manage-your-raters Product area: Assessments Last updated: 2026-07-19 Once you've invited raters, the **Manage Multi-Rater** panel is where you watch responses come in and keep the list healthy. The full report unlocks after 3 completed responses, so a little follow-up pays off. ## Open the rater table Open your completed assessment — the same finish screen you saw after submitting. The rater table lists everyone you've invited with these columns: - **Name** - **Relationship** — how the rater works with you - **Status** — Pending, In Progress, or Complete - **Actions** — the row menu for edits and reminders A rater's email address is visible when you open **Edit** on their row. You see who has responded, never what they answered. Individual ratings stay confidential. ## Send a reminder 1. Open the menu on the rater's row. 2. Choose **Remind**. The platform re-sends the invitation email. Give people a few days between reminders — and if email isn't landing, use **Copy Link** from the reminder panel and send the rater link yourself through chat. ## Edit a rater Choose **Edit** from the rater's row menu to fix a mistyped email address or correct the relationship. Getting the relationship right matters: the report can break scores out by rater type, so a manager tagged as a peer muddies the picture. ## Remove a rater Choose **Edit** from the rater's row menu, select **Delete Rater**, and confirm. Remove someone who has left the team, was invited by mistake, or is a duplicate. If they had already completed, their response no longer counts toward your total — make sure you still have at least 3 completed responses afterward. ## If responses stall Invite more people. There's no penalty for a longer list, and a wider set of peers, direct reports, and your manager gives a steadier signal — see [Invite raters to your assessment](/articles/invite-raters-to-your-assessment). If a rater says the invitation is confusing, reassure them: they just follow their emailed link, and rating takes 5-10 minutes. --- ## What's the difference between assessments, surveys, and 360s? URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/difference-between-assessments-surveys-and-360s Product area: Assessments Last updated: 2026-07-19 Several LeaderFactor products share a family name, and a couple of them measure related things through different instruments. Here's how to tell them apart. ## The self-service assessments These live in the **Assessments** catalog. You take them yourself, and each unlocks a personal report — see [Take an assessment](/articles/take-an-assessment). - **PSindex® self-assessment** — your personal impact across The 4 Stages of Psychological Safety™: inclusion safety, learner safety, contributor safety, and challenger safety. - **EQindex® self-assessment** — emotional intelligence across 6 domains: self and social, each crossed with awareness, regard, and management. - **DECIDERindex™** — your decision-making across the 7 steps of the DECIDER model. - **COHESIONindex™** — team cohesion across four dimensions: social, task, identity, and commitment. - **ChangeReadyindex™** — change readiness across the 5 Cs: character, competence, commitment, care, and capacity. - **ALI** — an AI leadership assessment. ## PSindex assessment vs PSindex survey Same research, different instrument. - The **PSindex self-assessment** is about you — your own impact on psychological safety. You start it yourself from the catalog. - The **PSindex survey** is about your team or organization — an admin schedules it, participants respond anonymously, and results appear as a heatmap. If you got a PSindex email invitation from your organization, that's the survey — see [Open a survey or rating from an email invitation](/articles/open-a-survey-or-rating-from-an-email-invitation). Admins, see [Create your first PSindex survey](/articles/create-your-first-psindex-survey). ## EQindex assessment vs EQindex 360 - The **EQindex self-assessment** is self-service. You can add your own raters afterward — see [Invite raters to your assessment](/articles/invite-raters-to-your-assessment). - **EQindex® 360** is admin-run: an administrator creates a batch of leaders and assigns raters for each. See [Create a 360 batch](/articles/create-a-360-batch). Rule of thumb: if you started it yourself from the catalog, it's an assessment. If it arrived by invitation, it's a survey or a 360. --- ## Use assessments reporting URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/use-assessments-reporting Product area: Assessments Last updated: 2026-07-14 Assessments reporting rolls up every self-service assessment in your organization — who's taking them, how much rater coverage they're getting, and how activity trends over time. ## Before you start You need the org admin role, and assessments reporting must be enabled for your organization. It lives in the admin area alongside your other admin tools. Individual answers are never shown — reporting works on aggregates. ## The reporting index The index shows one card per assessment tool — PSindex® self-assessment, EQindex® self-assessment, and so on. Each card gives you the org-level pulse: - **Self vs others gauges** — the organization's average self scores next to average external rater scores, side by side. - **Coverage** — the percentage of self-assessment takers who have external rater responses. Low coverage means people are taking assessments but not inviting raters. - **Participants and submissions** — how many people have taken the tool and how many total submissions exist, self and external. Cards with no data yet simply say so — there's nothing to configure. ## The submission activity calendar The **Submission Activity** calendar shows when submissions happen, day by day, with daily and cumulative coverage. Use it to check whether a training rollout actually drove assessment activity, or whether momentum faded after launch week. ## Go deeper on one tool Select a tool's card to open its detail view. That's where benchmarks, gap analysis, the dimension heatmap, and trends live: - [Understand benchmarks and gap analysis](/articles/understand-benchmarks-and-gap-analysis) — how your org compares to LeaderFactor global norms, and where self-perception diverges from external ratings. - [Drill into dimensions and trends](/articles/drill-into-dimensions-and-trends) — the heatmap, item-level scores, and score trajectory, with filters. ## What this is not This reports on self-service assessments only. Org-wide PSindex survey results live in the survey heatmap — see [Read the heatmap](/articles/read-the-heatmap). Admin-run EQindex® 360 batches have their own results view — see [View and export 360 results](/articles/view-and-export-360-results). --- ## Understand benchmarks and gap analysis URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/understand-benchmarks-and-gap-analysis Product area: Assessments Last updated: 2026-07-14 The per-tool reporting view answers two questions: how does your organization compare to everyone else, and where does self-perception diverge from how others see people? ## Before you start You need the org admin role and assessments reporting enabled. Open a tool from the reporting index — see [Use assessments reporting](/articles/use-assessments-reporting). ## LF Benchmark gauges Each **LF Benchmark** gauge places your organization's score against LeaderFactor's global norms — everyone who has taken the instrument, worldwide. Three reference points: - **P25** — the 25th percentile. - **Mean** — the global average. - **P75** — the 75th percentile. The gauge draws the P25-P75 band and marks your org's score on it. Inside the band means typical. Above P75 means top quartile. Below P25 means bottom quartile — a real signal, not noise. The comparison set is always the full LeaderFactor global dataset. ## Gap analysis: self vs external Where both self scores and rater scores exist, reporting compares them and classifies the gap: - **Blind Spot** — people rate themselves higher than their raters rate them. The most important class to act on, because the person can't see the problem. - **Hidden Strength** — raters score people higher than they score themselves. A confidence gap, not a competence gap. - **Aligned** — self and external views agree, in either direction. Small differences count as Aligned; only meaningful gaps earn a Blind Spot or Hidden Strength label. The view also shows the distribution across the three classes, so you can see at a glance whether your organization skews toward over- or under-estimating itself. Gap analysis depends on rater coverage. If coverage is low, nudge assessment takers to invite raters — see [Invite raters to your assessment](/articles/invite-raters-to-your-assessment). ## Next Benchmarks and gaps tell you where to look. To find out why, break scores down by dimension and over time — see [Drill into dimensions and trends](/articles/drill-into-dimensions-and-trends). --- ## Drill into dimensions and trends URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/drill-into-dimensions-and-trends Product area: Assessments Last updated: 2026-07-14 Benchmarks tell you where your organization stands; the dimension breakdown tells you why. This is the bottom half of a tool's reporting view — heatmap, items, and trajectory. ## Before you start You need the org admin role and assessments reporting enabled. Open a tool from the reporting index — see [Use assessments reporting](/articles/use-assessments-reporting). ## The dimension heatmap The heatmap lists each dimension of the instrument with three columns: - **Self** — the average self-assessment score. - **External** — the average score from raters. - **Gap** — the difference, classified as Blind Spot, Hidden Strength, or Aligned — see [Understand benchmarks and gap analysis](/articles/understand-benchmarks-and-gap-analysis). Cells are colored by the same factor bands used in individual reports — High Risk, Risk, Limiting, Growth, Strength, Success — so weak dimensions jump out without reading a single number. Expand a dimension to see its subscales, and break external scores out by rater type to see whether peers, direct reports, and managers agree. ## Item-level drill-in Open a dimension's items to see scores question by question. Dimension averages can hide a split — one strong item propping up one weak one — and the item level is where the specific behavior behind a low score shows itself. ## Score trajectory The time series plots scores over time, so you can see whether an intervention moved the needle. Judge trends against submission volume: a month with three submissions swings more than a month with three hundred. Check the activity calendar on the reporting index if a data point looks suspicious. ## Filters Every view on the page respects the filter bar: - **Date Range** — limit to a time window. - **Scale** — focus on specific dimensions. - **Rater Type** — self only, or a specific external relationship. - **Cohort** — one training group at a time — see [Create and manage training cohorts](/articles/create-and-manage-training-cohorts). - **Demographic attributes** — any attributes your organization has defined. Start broad, then narrow one filter at a time so you know which cut changed the picture. --- ## Create your first PSindex survey URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/create-your-first-psindex-survey Product area: Surveys (PSindex®) Last updated: 2026-07-14 The PSindex® survey measures psychological safety across your organization. Creating one takes a minute — the platform then walks you through the rest. ## Before you start You need the admin role and the survey admin feature on your organization. Surveys are org-wide: you add participants by CSV and read results in heatmaps. This is a different engine from [360 batches](/articles/create-a-360-batch) and individual [assessments](/articles/take-an-assessment). ## Create the survey 1. Open the surveys area and choose to create a new survey. 2. Enter a **Survey Name** — pick something you'll recognize in a list later, like "Engineering Q3 2026". 3. Save. The survey is created as a draft with the status **Not Sent**. Nothing has been sent to anyone. ## The two setup steps The survey's overview page shows a guided setup: 1. **Add Participants** — import your people by CSV or add them one at a time. You need at least 3 participants before the survey can run. See [Prepare and upload your participant CSV](/articles/prepare-and-upload-your-participant-csv). 2. **Schedule Survey** — set the start and end dates, pick a reminder cadence, and confirm pricing. See [Schedule your survey and customize invitations](/articles/schedule-your-survey-and-customize-invitations). Complete them in order. Once both are done, the overview confirms your survey is scheduled. ## Survey statuses - **Not Sent** — a draft. Edit anything freely. - **Scheduled** — dates are set; invitations send automatically on the start date. - **In Progress** — the survey is live and collecting responses. - **Closed** — the end date has passed and responses are locked. ## What happens next On the start date, every participant gets an email with a personal link. They take the survey from that link and never see scores — results are for admins only, in the heatmap. Before you schedule, it's worth setting up attributes so results can be segmented — see [Set up attributes and hierarchies](/articles/set-up-attributes-and-hierarchies). --- ## Prepare and upload your participant CSV URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/prepare-and-upload-your-participant-csv Product area: Surveys (PSindex®) Last updated: 2026-07-14 The fastest way to add participants to a PSindex® survey is a CSV import. Build the file once, upload it, and fix any flagged rows before anything is saved. ## Before you start You need the admin role. Your survey needs at least 3 participants before it can be scheduled, and at least one attribute column is required — attributes are what let you segment the heatmap later. ## Build the file Start from the downloadable template on the import screen — it has the right headers. The columns are: - **First Name**, **Last Name**, **Email** — required. Email is the identity key; use each person's real work address. - **Language** — optional. Sets the language of their invitation and survey. - One column per attribute — for example **Team Name** or **Manager Email**. Include at least one. These become the demographics you filter and segment by; see [Set up attributes and hierarchies](/articles/set-up-attributes-and-hierarchies). Keep attribute values consistent. "Sales" and "sales " read as two different teams. ## Upload it 1. From the survey's **Add Participants** step, open the CSV importer. 2. Download the template if you haven't built your file yet. 3. Upload your CSV and review the preview. The importer flags rows with problems — fix them in your file and re-upload, or correct them inline. 4. Confirm the import. ## Add or edit one person at a time You don't need a CSV for small changes. Add a single participant with their name, email, language, and attributes, or open an existing participant to edit their details. Each participant also has a personal **Invitation Link** you can copy and send directly — useful when email delivery is in doubt (see [Platform emails aren't arriving](/articles/platform-emails-not-arriving)). ## Next step Once your roster looks right, move on to [Schedule your survey and customize invitations](/articles/schedule-your-survey-and-customize-invitations). --- ## Set up attributes and hierarchies URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/set-up-attributes-and-hierarchies Product area: Surveys (PSindex®) Last updated: 2026-07-14 Attributes are the demographics attached to each participant — team, region, manager. They power every filter and segment in your results, and hierarchies turn them into an org chart for downline reporting. ## Before you start You need the admin role. Attributes come from the columns in your participant import — see [Prepare and upload your participant CSV](/articles/prepare-and-upload-your-participant-csv). Configure how they're used in the survey's settings. ## Set the Team Name demographic One attribute acts as the default grouping for your heatmap. In settings, choose which attribute is the **Team Name Demographic** — for most organizations this is a literal Team Name column, but it can be any attribute that describes the groups you want to compare. ## Build a hierarchy A hierarchy links participants to their managers so results can roll up the org chart. It pairs two demographics: 1. In the survey's settings, add a hierarchy. 2. Choose the **Segment By** demographic — the attribute that identifies each person's manager, such as Manager Email. 3. Choose the **Reference** demographic it matches against — the attribute on the manager's own row, such as Email. In this example, a participant whose Manager Email is jordan@acme.com rolls up to the participant whose Email is jordan@acme.com. 4. Set the top-level value — the person or node at the top of the chart — and save. With the hierarchy in place, reporting can show any leader their downline: their direct reports and everyone below them. See [Use hierarchy and downline views](/articles/use-hierarchy-and-downline-views). ## Keep the data clean Hierarchies are only as good as the CSV behind them. Every Manager Email value must exactly match an Email value elsewhere in the file — a typo breaks that branch of the chart. If a segment looks empty in results, check the source rows first. ## Next step With demographics set, you're ready to [schedule your survey and customize invitations](/articles/schedule-your-survey-and-customize-invitations). --- ## Schedule your survey and customize invitations URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/schedule-your-survey-and-customize-invitations Product area: Surveys (PSindex®) Last updated: 2026-07-14 Scheduling is the last setup step for a PSindex® survey. Once you set dates and confirm pricing, invitations send automatically on the start date. ## Before you start You need the admin role, and the survey needs at least 3 participants — see [Create your first PSindex survey](/articles/create-your-first-psindex-survey). Scheduling lives in the survey's settings. ## Set the dates 1. Set **Survey Starts** — invitations email out on this date. 2. Set **Survey Ends** — responses lock when this date passes. Use the **After 14 days** shortcut for a standard two-week window. Two weeks is a good default. Long enough for reminders to work, short enough to keep momentum. ## Pick a reminder cadence Choose a **Reminder Interval**: **Everyday**, **Every 2 days**, **Every 3 days**, or **Every 7 days**. Reminders go only to participants who haven't completed the survey. Every 2 or 3 days balances response rates against inbox fatigue for most organizations. ## Customize the invitation Add an **Invitation Note** — your own message injected into the invitation email. Use it to say why the survey matters, who sees results, and who's sponsoring it. A note from a named leader lifts participation. Preview both emails before you commit — the invitation and the reminder — so you see exactly what participants will receive. If your company filters external mail, get the sending domain allow-listed first; see [Platform emails aren't arriving](/articles/platform-emails-not-arriving). ## Accept terms and pricing Surveys are billed per participant. Before you can save the schedule, review and accept the terms and the per-participant price shown in settings. ## After you schedule The survey status changes to **Scheduled**, then to **In Progress** on the start date. Participants take the survey from their emailed link and never see scores. From there, watch completion in real time in [See who has completed your survey](/articles/see-who-has-completed-your-survey). --- ## See who has completed your survey URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/see-who-has-completed-your-survey Product area: Surveys (PSindex®) Last updated: 2026-07-19 Once your PSindex® survey is in progress, the survey overview and participants view show where the response rate stands. ## Before you start You need the admin role. Open the survey and go to its participants view. The survey status must be **In Progress** for responses to be coming in. ## Read the status badges Each participant carries one of three badges: - **Sent** — their invitation email has gone out. - **Pending** — their invitation hasn't been sent yet. - **Locked** — their invitation is locked. Invitations lock automatically when the survey closes, and locked participants are not emailed again if the survey is reopened. For completion numbers, use the survey's overview: it shows the funnel from **Participants** to **Invitations Sent**, **Participants Started**, and **Responses Received**. Participants take the survey from the personal link in their email — see [Open a survey or rating from an email invitation](/articles/open-a-survey-or-rating-from-an-email-invitation). They never see scores; results are admin-only. ## Search and filter Use search to find a specific person by name or email. Use the attribute filters to slice the table by any demographic from your import — Team Name, region, whatever you uploaded. Filtering is how you spot the quiet corners: if one team is lagging, you know where a nudge from a leader will help. ## Send reminders in bulk Scheduled reminders already go out at the interval you chose. To send an extra push manually, use **Bulk Send Reminders** — it emails everyone who has not completed the survey, and only them. See [Send reminders](/articles/send-reminders). ## Fix an individual If one person's invitation went astray, or they need a fresh start, fix them individually — resend their link, reset their invitation, or remove them. See [Resend, reset, or remove a participant](/articles/resend-reset-or-remove-a-participant). ## If nobody in one domain is responding That pattern usually means a mail filter, not apathy. Ask IT to allow-list the sending address — see [Platform emails aren't arriving](/articles/platform-emails-not-arriving). --- ## Resend, reset, or remove a participant URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/resend-reset-or-remove-a-participant Product area: Surveys (PSindex®) Last updated: 2026-07-14 Most participation problems come down to one person and one email. Every fix lives on the participant's row in your PSindex® survey. ## Before you start You need the admin role. Open the survey's participants view and find the person — search by name or email if the list is long. [See who has completed your survey](/articles/see-who-has-completed-your-survey) explains what the status badges mean. ## Resend the invitation Use this when the email got lost, deleted, or buried. 1. Open the participant and choose **Resend Invitation Link**. 2. The same personal link goes out again to the same address. Nothing else changes — any progress they've made is kept. You can also copy the participant's **Invitation Link** and send it yourself through your own channel — chat, calendar, a manager. Same link, no email delivery in the way. ## Reset the invitation Use this when the person needs a genuinely fresh start — they answered by mistake, someone else used their link, or their responses shouldn't count. 1. Open the participant and choose **Reset Invitation Link**. 2. Confirm. **Resetting deletes their responses permanently** and re-sends their invitation so they can start over. This is destructive. If they had completed the survey, that data is gone and they start over. ## Delete the participant Use this when the person shouldn't be in the survey at all — they left the company or were imported in error. Open the participant, choose **Delete Participant**, and confirm. They're removed from the survey and stop receiving reminders. ## Fixing a wrong email address Edit the participant's email to the correct address, then resend the invitation. If mail to a whole domain seems to vanish, the problem is upstream — see [Platform emails aren't arriving](/articles/platform-emails-not-arriving). --- ## Send reminders URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/send-reminders Product area: Surveys (PSindex®) Last updated: 2026-07-14 Participation is the number that makes every other number trustworthy. PSindex® gives you two ways to chase it: automatic reminders on a schedule you chose, and a bulk send whenever you want one. ## Before you start You need the admin role, and the survey must be in progress. Reminders only go to participants who have not completed the survey — nobody who finished gets nagged. ## Automatic reminders Every survey has a **Reminder Interval** — every day, every 2 days, every 3 days, or every 7 days — set when you scheduled it. The platform emails incomplete participants on that cadence for the life of the survey, no action required. To change the interval mid-survey, open the survey's **Settings** and pick a new value. See [Schedule your survey and customize invitations](/articles/schedule-your-survey-and-customize-invitations). ## Send a reminder to everyone, right now Use this before a leadership announcement, after a long weekend, or in the final 48 hours. 1. Open the survey and go to **Settings**. 2. Under **Actions**, select **Send Reminders**. 3. Confirm in the **Bulk Send Reminders** dialog. Every participant who has not completed the survey gets a reminder email immediately. That's it — one send, everyone incomplete. There is no partial bulk send; to nudge a single person, use the per-participant actions instead. See [Resend, reset, or remove a participant](/articles/resend-reset-or-remove-a-participant). ## Make reminders count - Watch your completion rate first, then decide whether to send — [See who has completed your survey](/articles/see-who-has-completed-your-survey) shows where things stand. - Pair the platform reminder with a human one. A short note from the sponsoring leader routinely outperforms a third automated email. - Don't stack sends. If the automatic reminder went out this morning, a bulk send this afternoon reads as spam. ## If reminders aren't landing Check spam folders and your allowlist configuration before assuming apathy. See [Platform emails aren't arriving](/articles/platform-emails-not-arriving). --- ## Extend or reopen a closed survey URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/extend-or-reopen-a-closed-survey Product area: Surveys (PSindex®) Last updated: 2026-07-14 Sometimes the window is too short. A live PSindex® survey can be extended by moving its end date, and a closed survey can be reopened — with control over who gets emailed. ## Before you start You need the admin role. Both actions live in the survey's **Settings** tab, in the **Survey Ends** field. ## Extend a survey that's still open 1. Open the survey and go to **Settings**. 2. Change **Survey Ends** to the new date and time. Invitations close at that moment. 3. Save. Automatic reminders keep running on their interval until the new close. Extending doesn't email anyone by itself. If you want incomplete participants to know they have more time, follow up with a bulk reminder — see [Send reminders](/articles/send-reminders). ## Reopen a closed survey When a survey has closed, setting **Survey Ends** to a future date reveals the **Reopen Survey** choice. Pick one of two modes: - **Partially open** — send invitations and reminders only to participants you've newly added. Everyone already invited hears nothing. Use this when a team or acquisition was missed and the rest of the org is done. - **Fully open** — resend invitations to every participant who has not completed the survey. Use this when participation fell short and you want one more real push. 1. In **Settings**, move **Survey Ends** to a future date. 2. Choose **Partially open** or **Fully open**. 3. Save. If you're adding people, upload them first — see [Prepare and upload your participant CSV](/articles/prepare-and-upload-your-participant-csv). Completed responses are never touched in either mode. Nobody who finished is re-invited. ## Keep the window honest Extend once, communicate the new deadline, and let it close. Repeated extensions train people that deadlines are suggestions — and your response pattern gets harder to compare across surveys. Track the effect of the reopen in [See who has completed your survey](/articles/see-who-has-completed-your-survey). --- ## Read the heatmap URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/read-the-heatmap Product area: Surveys (PSindex®) Last updated: 2026-07-14 The heatmap is the primary results view for a PSindex® survey. One glance shows which parts of the organization feel safe and which don't. ## Before you start You need the admin role. Open the survey and go to **Results**. Participants never see scores — results are admin-only. ## How the grid is laid out - **Rows** are participant segments — however you've sliced the population. See [Segment, filter, and save views](/articles/segment-filter-and-save-views). - **Columns** are the overall PSindex Score, each scale of the model, and **Participation**. Expand a scale to see its sub-scale questions. - **Cells** are color-coded scores. Hover any score for a tooltip that breaks responses into **Blue Zone**, **Neutral Zone**, and **Red Zone**, plus the participation count behind the number. ## Zones, in one line each - **Blue Zone** — people agree; safety is felt here. - **Neutral Zone** — people are hedging. Neutral is not fine; it's undecided. - **Red Zone** — people disagree. This is where the work is. A decent average can hide a meaningful red minority, so read the zone breakdown, not just the score. ## Tune what you see - **Color Sensitivity** — a slider that widens or narrows the color scale. Tighten it to make small differences pop in a high-scoring org; loosen it to see only the big contrasts. - **Show Deltas** — replaces raw context with each segment's difference from the overall score. The fastest way to find outliers. ## Small segments are hidden Segments with fewer responses than the survey's response-count threshold (default 3) don't render. That's confidentiality by design — nobody should be able to deduce an individual's answers. If a row is missing, broaden the segment. ## Where to go next Drill into a manager's branch with [Use hierarchy and downline views](/articles/use-hierarchy-and-downline-views), or line results up against your last survey in [Compare surveys and export results](/articles/compare-surveys-and-export-results). --- ## Segment, filter, and save views URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/segment-filter-and-save-views Product area: Surveys (PSindex®) Last updated: 2026-07-14 The overall PSindex® score tells you where the organization is. Segments tell you why. Slice the heatmap by any attribute, filter it down, and save the views you'll come back to. ## Before you start You need the admin role and a survey with results. Segments come from the attributes on your participant file — department, location, tenure, whatever you loaded. See [Set up attributes and hierarchies](/articles/set-up-attributes-and-hierarchies). ## Segment the heatmap 1. Open the survey's **Results** and select **Segment By**. 2. Pick one or more attributes. The heatmap redraws with a row for every combination of the values you chose. Two attributes at once — say, department by tenure — is often where the story shows up. Segments smaller than the response-count threshold stay hidden to protect confidentiality; see [Read the heatmap](/articles/read-the-heatmap). ## Filter to a slice 1. Select **Filter**. 2. Choose attribute values to keep — for example, only the EMEA region, or only individual contributors. 3. The heatmap now scores just that population. Active filters show as badges on the button. Segment answers "compare these groups." Filter answers "show me only this group." They combine. ## Save a view Rebuilt the same slice three meetings in a row? Save it. 1. With your segments and filters applied, open **Saved Views**. 2. Select **Save Current View** and name it — "Engineering by tenure," "EMEA managers." 3. Reload it any time from the same menu. Hover a saved view to edit or delete it. Saved views are shortcuts to a configuration, not snapshots — they always show current data. ## A useful habit Save one view per audience before the readout cycle starts: one for the executive summary, one per division leader. You'll walk into every debrief one click from the right picture. To share results without granting full admin access, see [Give an analyst limited survey access](/articles/give-an-analyst-limited-survey-access). --- ## Use hierarchy and downline views URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/use-hierarchy-and-downline-views Product area: Surveys (PSindex®) Last updated: 2026-07-14 Attributes slice the org sideways. Hierarchy slices it the way it actually runs — by who reports to whom. Drill into any manager's branch and see the PSindex® picture for exactly the people under them. ## Before you start - You need the admin role. - Your participant file must include reporting relationships, configured as a hierarchy. Without one, the hierarchy controls don't appear. See [Set up attributes and hierarchies](/articles/set-up-attributes-and-hierarchies). ## Drill into a branch 1. Open the survey's **Results**. 2. Navigate the hierarchy to the manager you care about. The heatmap now scores only participants in that branch. 3. Keep drilling to go deeper, or step back up to widen the lens. ## Choose the downline depth With a branch selected, the downline control sets how far below the manager to include: - **Direct Reports Only** — just the people who report straight to this manager. The cleanest read on one team. - **Direct Reports + N Levels** — the manager's reports plus everyone the chosen number of levels beneath them. Use this for a director's or VP's whole organization. Depth changes the population, so it changes the scores. A VP's directs may be thriving while the levels below them are not — checking both is the entire point of this view. ## Confidentiality still applies Branches with fewer responses than the survey's response-count threshold (default 3) are hidden, exactly as in the flat heatmap. A frontline manager with two respondents won't produce a score. Widen the depth or move up a level to get a reportable population. See [Read the heatmap](/articles/read-the-heatmap). ## Use it well Downline views make results personal — this is a named leader's organization, not an anonymous cut. Share a branch view with that leader as the start of their own work, not as a scoreboard. Zone breakdowns and deltas behave the same here as everywhere else in the heatmap. --- ## Compare surveys and export results URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/compare-surveys-and-export-results Product area: Surveys (PSindex®) Last updated: 2026-07-14 One PSindex® survey is a snapshot. Two are a trend. Link a re-test to its predecessor for side-by-side results, then export whatever your stakeholders need. ## Before you start You need the admin role and at least one completed survey in the organization. Results and exports are admin-only. ## Run a re-test Create the re-test like any survey — see [Create your first PSindex survey](/articles/create-your-first-psindex-survey). Keep the participant attributes consistent between rounds, or the comparison segments won't line up. ## Link and compare 1. Open the new survey's **Settings** and choose the earlier survey under **Previous Survey**. 2. In **Results**, turn on **Show Previous Survey**. Each segment renders both rounds side by side. 3. Turn on **Show Deltas** to read movement directly, per scale and per segment. Read deltas against participation. A score that "dropped" in a segment where twice as many people responded may simply be more honest. See [Read the heatmap](/articles/read-the-heatmap). ## Export results - **Excel** — in **Results**, select **Export to Excel**. The workbook reflects your current segments and filters, so set the view first. - **Participant CSV** — from the **Participants** tab, export the roster with completion status. Useful for reconciliation and follow-up lists. - **Verbatim responses** — download open-text answers as a CSV from the survey's report. Verbatims are where the numbers get explained; treat them with the same confidentiality as scores. - **PDF report** — open the survey's report and select **Export** for a shareable document. ## Close the loop Exports leave the platform's access controls behind — scrub small segments before wide distribution. To let someone explore results in the platform without admin rights, see [Give an analyst limited survey access](/articles/give-an-analyst-limited-survey-access). --- ## Create a 360 batch URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/create-a-360-batch Product area: 360 Evaluations Last updated: 2026-07-14 360 Evaluations is the admin-run engine for EQindex® 360. It's distinct from the org-wide PSindex® survey and from self-service assessments — if you're not sure which tool you're in, see [What's the difference between assessments, surveys, and 360s?](/articles/difference-between-assessments-surveys-and-360s). ## Before you start You need the org admin role, and your organization needs the 360 Evaluations feature. ## The model: batches, targets, raters - A **batch** is a group of leaders evaluated together, on one schedule. - Each **target** is a leader being evaluated. - Each target has **raters** — the people who give feedback, each tagged with a relationship such as supervisor, peer, or direct report. ## Create the batch 1. Open 360 Evaluations and start a new batch. 2. Choose **EQindex® 360** as the **Evaluation Type**. 3. Enter a **Batch Name** — something you'll recognize later, like "Q3 leadership batch". 4. Select **Create Batch**. The batch opens empty. Next steps: [Add leaders to a batch](/articles/add-leaders-to-a-batch), then [Add raters for each leader](/articles/add-raters-for-each-leader). ## Schedule the batch Raters aren't emailed until the batch starts. From the batch, open **Schedule Batch**: 1. Set **Batch Starts** — invitation emails go out at this time. 2. Optionally set **Batch Ends**. Leave it blank and the batch stays open. 3. Choose a **Send Reminders** interval — every day, or every 2, 3, or 7 days. Raters who haven't finished get a reminder email on that cadence. Add targets and raters before the start time so everyone is invited together. ## Rename or delete a batch Open the batch settings (**Edit Batch**) to change the name, add an optional **Invitation Note** to the invitation email, or delete the batch. Deleting a batch cannot be undone. --- ## Add leaders to a batch URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/add-leaders-to-a-batch Product area: 360 Evaluations Last updated: 2026-07-14 In an EQindex® 360 batch, the leaders being evaluated are called targets. Add them by spreadsheet or one at a time. ## Before you start You need the org admin role and the 360 Evaluations feature. Create the batch first — see [Create a 360 batch](/articles/create-a-360-batch). ## Import targets from a spreadsheet 1. From the batch, select **Add Targets**. 2. Download the template spreadsheet. It has four columns: **First Name**, **Last Name**, **Email**, and **Language**. 3. Fill it in — one row per leader. Language controls the language of their emails and evaluation. 4. Paste the cells into the importer, or upload the file as CSV directly. 5. Match the columns when prompted, review the rows, and select **Import Spreadsheet**. The importer flags problem rows before anything is saved. Email is the identity key, so use each leader's real work address. ## Add targets individually Small batch? From the **Add Targets** screen, skip the template — choose the option to enter rows manually, type each leader's details into the grid, and import. ## Check the list Back on the batch, targets are grouped by where they stand: - **Needs Raters** — no raters attached yet. - **Pending** — raters attached, results not in yet. - **Completed** — results are available. Adding the same email twice is safe — a person appears in a batch only once. ## Next step A target with no raters gets no feedback. Attach raters to every leader before the batch starts — see [Add raters for each leader](/articles/add-raters-for-each-leader). --- ## Add raters for each leader URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/add-raters-for-each-leader Product area: 360 Evaluations Last updated: 2026-07-19 Raters are the people who give each leader feedback in an EQindex® 360. Every rater is tagged with a relationship, which shapes how their answers are grouped in the results. ## Before you start You need the org admin role and the 360 Evaluations feature. The batch needs targets first — see [Add leaders to a batch](/articles/add-leaders-to-a-batch). ## Add raters for one leader 1. Open the batch and select the target. 2. Select **Add Raters**. 3. Enter each rater's first name, last name, email, and language, and choose a **Relationship**: **Self**, **Supervisor**, **Peer**, **Direct Report**, or **Other**. 4. Import. Use the template spreadsheet for a long list, or enter rows manually for a short one. Add the leader as their own rater with the **Self** relationship so results can compare self-view with everyone else's. ## Add raters for the whole batch at once The batch-level **Add Raters** import adds a **Target Email** column, so one spreadsheet can cover every leader. Each row is one rater-to-target pairing — the same person can appear on several rows to rate several leaders. ## Customize and preview the invitation Open the batch settings (**Edit Batch**) to add an optional **Invitation Note**, then preview exactly what raters will receive with **Preview the Invitation Email** and **Preview the Reminder Email**. ## Send the invitations Invitations go out automatically when the batch starts, and reminders follow on the interval you set — see [Create a 360 batch](/articles/create-a-360-batch). Each rater follows their emailed link to the list of leaders they've been asked to rate, and their individual answers stay confidential. Each rater's row shows a status: **Invitation Pending**, **Invitation Sent**, or **Evaluation Complete**. You can resend an invitation to any rater who hasn't finished, or remove a rater. If invitations aren't arriving, it's usually a filtering problem on your mail system — see [Platform emails aren't arriving](/articles/platform-emails-not-arriving). --- ## View and export 360 results URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/view-and-export-360-results Product area: 360 Evaluations Last updated: 2026-07-14 EQindex® 360 results are per leader. Admins read them in the batch and export a full PDF report for each leader. ## Before you start You need the org admin role and the 360 Evaluations feature. ## Find a leader's results 1. Open the batch. Targets are grouped by status — leaders under **Completed** have results. 2. Select the leader, then open their **Results** view. The on-screen view shows a summary of the leader's results. If it says results aren't available yet, not enough raters have finished — check rater statuses and resend invitations if needed. See [Add raters for each leader](/articles/add-raters-for-each-leader). ## Read the results Feedback is aggregated by relationship — self, supervisor, peer, direct report — so the leader's self-view can be compared with how others experience them. Individual raters' answers stay confidential; you see grouped results, not who said what. ## Export the PDF report From the leader's results view, select **Download The Full Report**. The PDF is the complete per-leader report — the artifact you'll hand to the leader or their coach. Repeat for each leader in the batch; reports are exported one leader at a time. ## Share results with the leader The platform doesn't send results to leaders automatically — delivery is your step as the admin. A few practices that hold up well: - Share the PDF in a debrief conversation, not a bare email attachment. - Frame the relationship breakdowns as perspective gaps to explore, not verdicts. - Never reveal or speculate about which rater said what. ## Not seeing what you expect? Make sure you're in the right engine. Org-wide psychological safety data lives in the PSindex® survey, and individual self-assessments live in Assessments — see [What's the difference between assessments, surveys, and 360s?](/articles/difference-between-assessments-surveys-and-360s). --- ## Become a certified facilitator URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/become-a-certified-facilitator Product area: Facilitation Last updated: 2026-07-14 Facilitator certification lets your own people deliver LeaderFactor workshops inside your organization. The path lives in the **Facilitate** menu under **Certifications**. ## Before you start - Your account needs the facilitator role and a facilitator license — both come from your organization's LeaderFactor admin. - Certification is per course (for example, The 4 Stages of Psychological Safety™). ## The certification path The **Earn Your Certificate** page walks you through the stages in order and shows where you are: 1. **Onboarding** — orientation to the content and the facilitation model. 2. **Certification course** — the training itself, completed in the platform. 3. **Practice workshop** — schedule and deliver a workshop; delivering it is part of earning the certificate. 4. **Certified** — your certification appears in Settings under **Your Certifications**. Each stage unlocks when the previous one is complete. If the page says you have no upcoming workshop, create one — see [Create and run a workshop](/articles/create-and-run-a-workshop). ## After you're certified You can create and run workshops for licensed participants in your organization and present the official materials. See [Present course materials](/articles/present-course-materials). --- ## Create and run a workshop URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/create-and-run-a-workshop Product area: Facilitation Last updated: 2026-07-14 Facilitators run live workshops as cohorts — a named group of participants moving through a course together. ## Before you start - You need the facilitator role. The **Facilitate** menu with **Workshops** appears in your navigation once you have it. - Participants need license seats for the course you're delivering — coordinate with your org admin. See [Manage license seats](/articles/manage-license-seats). ## Create a workshop 1. Open **Facilitate → Workshops** and select the option to create a new workshop. 2. Choose the course, name the workshop, and set the session details. 3. Add participants. Enrolled participants get access to the course materials and any pre-work. ## Run it - Open your workshop from the **Workshops** list to see the roster and manage enrollments as people join or drop. - On the day, use Present mode to deliver the official slides — see [Present course materials](/articles/present-course-materials). - Participants complete their portions (pre-work, activities, post-work) in their own accounts, and their progress is tracked automatically. ## After the workshop Completion feeds participant progress and, if you're working toward certification, delivering the workshop counts toward it — see [Become a certified facilitator](/articles/become-a-certified-facilitator). Org admins can export enrollment and review data from cohort administration — see [Create and manage training cohorts](/articles/create-and-manage-training-cohorts). --- ## Present course materials URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/present-course-materials Product area: Facilitation Last updated: 2026-07-17 Present mode delivers course slides from inside the platform, so every workshop runs on current, correctly branded materials — the official deck as LeaderFactor maintains it, or a version you've tailored to your organization. ## Launch a presentation 1. Open your workshop or cohort and select **Slides**. 2. Choose a deck: start the official LeaderFactor deck with **Start Presentation**, or present a version your organization created. 3. Full screen opens in its own window, so your presenter view stays free while you present. Because Present mode streams from the platform, the official deck is always the latest version of the content. ## Customize a deck You can create your own version of an official deck — a full copy, so the official deck stays intact and your changes are yours: - Reorder slides by dragging and dropping, and hide slides you don't want to present. - Add your own slides from images, and delete any slide. - Edit speaker notes in a rich-text editor, and restore any note to the official default. When LeaderFactor updates the official deck — a slide image changes, notes are edited, a slide is added or removed — you're notified in your version and can adopt each change or keep yours. ## Present from your phone From presenter view, scan the QR code with your phone. Your phone shows the current slide, your speaker notes, and the next slide, and its navigation buttons stay in sync with the computer and the full-screen display — so you can walk the room while you present. ## Usage terms The first time you present, the platform asks you to accept the content usage requirements. The short version: LeaderFactor materials may only be used with participants your organization has licensed, and may not be copied, modified, or shared outside that. That applies to your customized decks too — tailoring a deck doesn't change who may see it. Presenting to unlicensed participants is the most common violation — check your seat counts before a big session. See [Manage license seats](/articles/manage-license-seats). --- ## Add and manage users URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/add-and-manage-users Product area: Org administration Last updated: 2026-07-14 User Management is where org admins control who's in the organization and what role each person holds. ## Before you start You need the admin role. **User Management** lives under **Manage → Admin** in the left navigation. ## Add one user 1. Open **Admin → User Management** and select **Add**. 2. Enter their first name, last name, and email, and choose a role — see [Understand roles and permissions](/articles/understand-roles-and-permissions). 3. Save. The person can now sign in with that email (password, secure login link, or your SSO). ## Add many users by CSV 1. From User Management, choose the CSV import. 2. Build your file with the columns **First Name, Last Name, Email, Role, Language**, plus a column for each custom attribute your organization has defined. 3. Upload and review the preview — the importer flags rows with problems before anything is saved. Emails are the identity key, so use each person's real work address, spelled once, consistently. ## Edit or deactivate a user Select a user from the list to change their name, email, role, or attributes. When someone leaves, deactivate them and free their license seats — see [Manage license seats](/articles/manage-license-seats). --- ## Understand roles and permissions URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/understand-roles-and-permissions Product area: Org administration Last updated: 2026-07-14 Two things determine what a user sees in the platform: their **role** in your organization, and the **features your organization has purchased**. Get both right and "why can't I see X" mostly disappears. ## The four roles - **Individual** — the default. Takes courses and assessments and sees their own progress. Most people are individuals. - **Facilitator** — everything an individual has, plus the **Facilitate** menu: certification and workshop management. Give this to people who deliver workshops. - **Admin** — everything above, plus the **Admin** menu: User Management, License Management, Cohorts, and Org Settings, and administration of surveys and 360 batches where licensed. Give this sparingly. - **Analyst** — a restricted reporting role: sees only the surveys and segments they've been assigned, without any other admin power. See [Give an analyst limited survey access](/articles/give-an-analyst-limited-survey-access). Set a user's role when you add them, or change it later in User Management — see [Add and manage users](/articles/add-and-manage-users). ## Features are separate from roles An admin in an organization that hasn't licensed Surveys won't see Surveys — no role can grant a feature your organization hasn't purchased. If a whole capability (Surveys, 360 Evaluations, Hubs, Assessments Reporting) is missing for everyone, that's a licensing question, not a role question. Contact your LeaderFactor account team. --- ## Manage license seats URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/manage-license-seats Product area: Org administration Last updated: 2026-07-14 Licenses are the seats your organization has purchased for courses, assessments, and facilitator certification. Assigning a seat is what actually gives a user access to the content — adding a user to the org isn't enough by itself. ## Before you start You need the admin role. **License Management** lives under **Manage → Admin**. ## See what you have Open **Admin → License Management**. Licenses are grouped by category, with counts of what's purchased and what's assigned. What individuals see of this is the **Your Licenses** list in their own Settings. ## Assign seats 1. Open the license category. 2. Assign seats to users. The user's account is entitled immediately — the course or tool appears in their Learn area. Enrolling people through cohorts or workshops draws on the same seat pool, so coordinate with facilitators before a big session. See [Create and manage training cohorts](/articles/create-and-manage-training-cohorts). ## Free up seats When someone leaves or no longer needs access, unassign their seat to return it to the pool. Do this as part of offboarding, together with deactivating the user. ## Need more seats? Purchasing more is a conversation with your LeaderFactor account team — License Management shows the balance but isn't a store. --- ## Create and manage training cohorts URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/create-and-manage-training-cohorts Product area: Org administration Last updated: 2026-07-14 A cohort is a named group of learners moving through a course together — the unit you enroll, email, and report on. Live workshops are cohorts too, managed by their facilitator. ## Before you start You need the admin role (or training-admin access). Cohort tools live under **Manage → Admin → Cohorts** and in training administration. ## Create a cohort 1. Open **Admin → Cohorts** and select the option to create a new cohort. 2. Choose the course and name the cohort — names like "4 Stages — Sales Q3" make reporting legible later. 3. Add enrollments. Each enrollment consumes a license seat — see [Manage license seats](/articles/manage-license-seats). ## Manage it through the course - **Enrollments** — add or remove learners from the cohort page as the roster changes. - **Emails** — send (or resend) cohort emails to notify learners about enrollment and next steps. If a learner says they never got the email, resend it from here before troubleshooting anything else. - **Progress** — watch completion from the cohort view. ## Export progress and reviews Cohort administration includes CSV exports of enrollments and of course reviews — use them for your LMS records, stakeholder reporting, or measuring feedback after a workshop wave. --- ## Give an analyst limited survey access URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/articles/give-an-analyst-limited-survey-access Product area: Org administration Last updated: 2026-07-14 Sometimes an HR partner or a division leader needs to see survey results for their part of the organization — and nothing else. The **analyst** role exists for exactly this: scoped, read-oriented survey access without user management, licenses, or anyone else's data. ## How it works An analyst sees only the surveys and segments they've been assigned. Assign an analyst to one division's segment and they can work with that slice of the results — they can't browse other segments, other surveys, or any admin page. ## Set it up 1. Give the person the **analyst** role in User Management — see [Add and manage users](/articles/add-and-manage-users). 2. In the survey's settings, assign them to the segments they should see. ## When to use analyst vs admin - Use **analyst** for anyone whose job is reading results for their own area — it's the least-privilege option and the right default for distributed reporting. - Use **admin** only for the people who run surveys — creating them, importing participants, scheduling, and managing the org. See [Understand roles and permissions](/articles/understand-roles-and-permissions) for the full role model. --- ## Action planning becomes Behavior Change URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/updates/behavioral-change-center Product update · Published: 2026-07-22 In an upcoming release, action planning in LeaderFactor becomes the **Behavioral Change Center**: one hub where learners choose specific behaviors, practice them over 30 days, and track follow-through week by week. This is a significant update, so this post covers whether your organization is affected, what changes for each role, and how the new center works. ## Am I affected? It depends on which LeaderFactor products your organization uses. **Not affected: nothing changes for you.** Organizations using a legacy Psychological Safety program, a legacy EQ program, or a SCORM deployment keep their current experience exactly as it is today: courses, plans, check-ins, and reports. There is no sunset date for your current system and nothing you or your learners need to do. Questions? Contact your CSM. **Affected from the release date.** Organizations on current LeaderFactor product lines receive the update automatically. Here's what changes, role by role. ## What changes for facilitators First, the timing: the update is scheduled for an open window when no facilitated workshops are running, so it will not land mid-session or between a session and its wrap-up. - Course slides and facilitator notes are updated with the new terminology. If you present the official decks, you'll simply have the current materials the next time you present. Official decks stay maintained by LeaderFactor. If your organization created its own deck versions, you'll be notified of each change and can adopt the updates without losing your customizations. See [Present course materials](/articles/present-course-materials). - Structurally, only one lesson changes: the Action Plan Debrief becomes **Commitment Prioritization**. Instead of the "Schedule & Submit Action Plan" wrap-up, participants review the behaviors they flagged during the course and confirm up to three commitments to start practicing. - Everything else about running a workshop stays the same. ## What changes for administrators Honestly, very little for now. The update arrives automatically. There is nothing to enable or configure. Reporting for behavioral change is coming in a future release; we'll announce it here when it ships. ## What changes for learners - A new **Behavioral Change** item appears in the navigation, with a short introduction the first time it's opened. No training needed. - Courses now end with the **Commitment Prioritization** lesson described above. - A simple weekly rhythm arrives with it: a Monday planning reminder and a Friday reflection reminder by email. - **Existing behaviors are migrated automatically. Nothing is lost, and there is nothing to re-enter.** ## Inside the Behavioral Change Center The center replaces three separate pieces of the old experience (action plans written inside courses, habit tracking, and the behaviors summary on Home) with one place built around **commitments**: specific, doable behavior statements in the form "When X, I will Y." Statements tied to a real moment in the day outperform vague goals, and people follow through best working on a few behaviors at a time for about 30 days. The center is that research, built into the product. ### Commitments, not lists Learners choose behaviors from LeaderFactor's behavior library, from a course they've taken, or written in their own words with a little AI assistance to shape them into a "When X, I will Y" statement. Each one becomes a commitment. ### Three at a time At most **three commitments are active** at once. A slot meter shows where you stand, and everything else waits in the backlog until a slot opens. Fewer things, done consistently, beats a long list you never look at. ### 30-day cycles Each active commitment runs for 30 days: long enough to make a behavior stick, short enough to stay focused. When a cycle ends, the learner gets a congratulations email with their check-in count and average score, and can extend the commitment for another 30 days as many times as they'd like. ### Plan Monday, reflect Friday Mondays, look at the week ahead and note where each commitment will matter. Fridays, look back, score yourself from 0 to 5, and jot down what you noticed. Email reminders arrive for both, and every learner controls them in their notification settings. Missing one isn't punished. A Monday plan can be made up through Thursday, and a Friday reflection over the weekend. ### Share your progress Learners can share their center with specific people as **peers** or as their **manager**, who see active commitments and can cheer them on with congrats, nudges, and notes. Sharing is always by name, with no public links, and the learner can change it at any time. ### Courses feed the center Behaviors identified during a course are saved to the backlog as the learner goes, so the Commitment Prioritization lesson at the end is a real decision: pick up to three, leave the course with a plan already running. ## For managers When a team member shares their center at the manager level, you see their active commitments and can leave encouragement. Once a week you'll also be asked for a short private review of each shared commitment: did you observe the behavior, a 0 to 5 score, and an optional note. **Your review is never shown to the team member.** It exists to give your organization an honest, independent signal on whether behavior is really changing. A Friday email reminds you when a review is due. ## What happens to existing action plans They come along automatically. When the Behavioral Change Center launches, the previous action-planning experience is retired and existing behaviors are migrated into the new system as commitments. Nothing is lost, and there is nothing for learners to do before or after the release. ## Frequently asked questions **Do learners need training on the new center?** No. The center introduces itself on first visit, and the weekly rhythm takes about five minutes each. Your CSM can also share a short walkthrough with your team. **Will learners get more email?** The rhythm is similar to today: Monday and Friday reminders, plus occasional notifications like a 30-day completion or a note from a teammate. Every learner controls their own notification settings from within the center. **Can a learner work on more than three commitments?** Not at the same time. The limit is deliberate and one of the most research-backed parts of the design. Additional commitments wait in the backlog; activating one when all three slots are full means pausing another first. **Can managers see everything a learner does?** No. Managers see only what a learner has shared, at the level the learner granted. Managers' weekly reviews go the other direction. They're private from the learner. **Why isn't my legacy Psychological Safety, EQ, or SCORM program getting this?** The Behavioral Change Center is built into the platform experience of our newer product lines, and we're keeping your current program stable rather than changing it mid-stream. There is no sunset date for your current system. If you'd like to explore what the current product lines could look like for your organization, your CSM can start that conversation. **Is the Behavioral Change Center an add-on?** No. It's included in existing subscriptions for the product lines that receive it. Questions we haven't covered? Reach out to your CSM or the LeaderFactor solutions team. --- ## Custom slide decks and phone control for presenters URL: https://help.leaderfactor.com/updates/custom-slide-decks-and-phone-control Product update · Published: 2026-07-17 Presenting just got a major upgrade. Facilitators can now tailor official decks to their organization and run the room from their phone — less time working around fixed slides, more freedom while you deliver. ## What's new ### A new way to launch slides The **Slides** button — on a cohort page or in facilitator training — now opens a launcher. Start the official LeaderFactor-maintained deck with **Start Presentation**, exactly as before, or pick one of your own versions. ### Your own versions of official decks Create a deck of your own as a full copy of the official deck, or of a version you made earlier. It's a true fork: the official deck stays intact and maintained by LeaderFactor, and every change you make is yours. ### A full deck editor Editing your deck now works the way you'd expect: - Reorder slides by dragging and dropping. - Hide slides you don't want to present. - Add your own slides from images, and delete any slide. - Edit speaker notes in a rich-text editor — bold, italic, underline, lists, color — and restore any note to the official default. ### Stay in sync with official updates Your version doesn't go stale. When LeaderFactor updates the official deck — a slide image changes, speaker notes are edited, a slide is added or removed — you're notified in your deck and can adopt each change with a click, or keep yours. ### Control the presentation from your phone Scan a QR code from presenter view and your phone becomes the controller — no extra sign-in. You see the current slide, your speaker notes, and what's coming next, and the navigation buttons keep your phone, your computer, and the full-screen display in sync. Walk the room instead of standing behind a laptop. This is the newest part of the release, and we're actively refining it. ## Improvements - Full screen now opens in its own window instead of a tab, so your presenter view stays free while you present. ## Get started 1. Open your workshop or cohort and select **Slides**. 2. Present the official deck with **Start Presentation**, or create your own version and open the editor. 3. Reorder, hide, add, and annotate until the deck fits your session. 4. In presenter view, scan the QR code with your phone and run the presentation from your hand. ## Updated articles [Present course materials](/articles/present-course-materials) now covers the launcher, custom decks, and the phone controller.
